BBC session last night at Confederation Park. A great workout, as always! We jogged to warm up, then ran through a circuit three times. The circuit consisted of push ups, forward walking lunges with a side twist, frog jumps, ski jumps, jumping jacks, a great move called grade 7 dance, walking side lunges, running up a hill, run back to the start and repeat. The grade 7 dance move involves resistance tubing that you step on, cross the tubing in front of you, stand up straight and move side to side. You know, like we all did at those middle school dances where the boys would hang out on one side of the cafeteria and the girls would hang out on the other side until the song of the moment came on and people finally ventured on the dance floor..?? Songs like Guns N' Roses - November Rain, or Right Said Fred's Too Sexy...ah, the memories. Anyhow, I digress. After that we did some pull ups, an upper arm workout with resistance tubing, and abs. Today I'm planning on running hills and going to yoga. I apparently need to stretch out my tight hip flexors, so says Instructor S...

Sounds like a fun work out session in the park. It's nice to get outside when the weather is good.
