Boy, I have to tell you, it is a good thing I don't have a complex about this...
Last year someone asked me if I was in the post-natal boot camp. I only have the canine variety of a child...
This morning, I received a very interesting phone call:
Caller: "Leana, I was calling to ask you a personal question."
Me: "OK..."
Caller: "Well, it is just that I was wondering if there was anything you wanted to tell me."
Me: "Er...no..."
Caller: "It's just that yesterday, when I saw you... I was wondering if you were pregnant."
I thought most people knew not to ask that question, but sheesh, I sure don't think I look pregnant. I don't even know this person very well. Sigh...

AHH! What are people thinkin'??? If it makes you feel better, my cousin who is six months pregnant is going to borrow one of my normal size dresses (fyi - i've never popped out a baby) for a wedding she is going to. I brought over 4 different dresses and they ALL fit her!
BTW - thanks so much for the Disney info! I think I convinced my sis to try it out!
People!! Sometimes they just make me shake my head.
Thanks for the skirt tips...their skort line is actually of interest to be honest. May have to give that a try.
You said it wasn't even a good friend, yeah, I don't think you guys will be even be acquantances anymore.
OK, I have to see your other pics when I get home tonight, but based on your Disney pic you do not look pregnant...and yes, people should know not to ask that!! People can just be so rude, sometimes without even realizing it I think...sheesh.
In my last race photo from a couple of weeks ago, my eyes were closed, mouth was open, and I looked like I was carrying twins. And the twins part would be quite a trick, let me tell... no, I don't have to tell you, it ain't happening.
Yeah, people should never comment on someone else's 'situation', true or not. And we've all seen some of the race photos you've posted, and no, you don't remotely look like you're pregnant. Too bad you can't go back in time to tell this person you were carrying the Devil's spawn.
That's fucked up.
Well, you don't look pregnant in any pictures I've ever seen of you!
Why would somebody ask that? Even when I'm fairly certain somebody is pregnant, I won't ask. They might have just had a big meal, or their shirt could just be draping oddly!
That's just awful! I certainly hope they felt like dopes after asking you.
R-U-D-E!!!!!!!!!!!!
What!! I have never seen a picture where you even look like that could be the case. People what too much TV and everyone in hollywood is preggers!
Something similar has happened to me, too. Once I was visiting a friend in the maternity ward and the person in the elevator with me asked when I was due. I just wanted to smack him.
Besides, it is never a good question to ask. If a woman is prego, she'll tell you on her own terms, in her own time. Asking is just rude!
Dude! I have seen you in person - You don't even look close to pregnant.
You look like an athlete...
About three weeks after my daughter was born, a stranger at the grocery store asked me when I was due. I was like "uhhh, I just had a baby." I mean I hadn't dropped all the baby weight yet, but I looked fat, not pregnant.
OH.MY.GOD.
Seriously, people are so crazy/stupid/rude sometimes.
Note to Public:
*Never ask if someone is Preggers.
*Never ask "why arn't you married?"
*Never ask stupid questions!
