Why is there never a ChampionChip and a timing mat around when you need one? Today I hit the pathways downtown around the river for a little 5K run over lunch. When I saw my pace for the first mile I was pretty sure the office towers had interfered with the Garmin signal because no way I was running that fast. When I clicked off a mile it was right were I expected it to be though. I thought for sure things would even out come mile 2. Nope, only 1 second between mile 1 and 2. Interesting... I tried to keep it up and sprint for the finish, and voila, a new 5K PR:
28:44
And I wasn't even racing today! Apparently I haven't been pushing myself enough...

Awesome! PR's are always fun, and just wait as it cools down even more. Winter is PR central. :)
Great job. I question Garmin on occasion too, but it hasn't let me down yet.
