A Christmas List

Natural balance is being restored in terms of climate these days. While I ended November with a run outdoors in capri pants, December has blown in with snow and cooler temperatures. It was bound to happen sometime. And since it looks a lot like Christmas outside now, I thought it would be a good time to share a Christmas wish list with you guys! (And, because yesterday was a rest day, and today I didn't make it to swimming...I otherwise have nothing to talk about...)
---
A few weeks back the Runners' Lounge opened up a forum and asked us what gifts runners really wanted. So if I had to compile my ultimate wish list, here's what I would ask for:
  • I don't know if Active.com sells gift cards, but this would be number one on my list if they did. I still have not registered for my big "A" race for next season because I'm trying to get over the US$200 entry fee (plus Active.com processing fee and USAT race day insurance), all while the Canadian dollar keeps plummeting lower and lower.
  • Do I really want this swimsuit! I just wish that their shipping to Canada was not such a pain the rear...
  • Nutrition makes a great stocking stuffer! You can never have enough Chocolate Mint Gu, or some tubes of nuun would be great too.
  • Socks. I would never say no to socks. Smartwool and Balega are my two favourite brands. Wouldn't you know it, there are no Balega dealers in Alberta!
  • I love my Starbucks...especially after a run... So a gift card would be sincerely appreciated.
  • And I totally forgot it earlier, but I need some new movies to watch while riding my trainer in my garage. Cheezy chick flicks probably rank highest on the list. (Did I just admit that?)

What about you? What are you hoping for this Christmas?

Oh, that swimsuit is so funny! And for only $20.95, it's a STEAL! Maybe you can have it shipped to someone in Orlando and have them give it to you at Disney? I know some folks who will be at the race who might be willing to bring it to you.

Oh, and the only thing I'm hoping for Xmas is simply more time with my husband. That's the only thing I don't ever seem to get enough of with him being on the road so much.

man you beat me to posting my christmas list..but yours is different than mine, as I don't have any desire for starbucks and I'm in love with my drymax.

My Christmas wish is that the protesters in Bangkok are removed or stop so I don't have to replan part 2 of our vacation.

Thank you for stopping by and reading my list. One question for you Leana...which Garmin do you have?

I love the fact that everything is linked to a Canadian site. :) Yes, I know you're from Canada. But I never considered a Canadian Best Buy site.
