My finish time says it all:
7:02:02
Considering that is an hour off Great White North it is fair to say that I did not have my best day out there today. There were some good positives along with some good learning experiences along the way though.
I promise a race report soon, once I’ve had a chance to refuel and digest on the experience (there is a pun in there). And once I figure out how candid I want to be about my race experience..!!

Uh-oh - what's this about "digest"?
I can't wait to read your race report. Though it's an hour off from Great White North, your finish is awesome!
I know what it's like to not reach your goals...but remember, YOU DID IT! That is the main thing. You didn't quit. Big races are a head game. Suddenly you are in "IT" versus a warm up. Without knowing it, the game can shake you. No worries, you still did great, and you gave yourself a perfect excuse to do it again!!! Good work!
Congrats on the finish. Sorry to hear about the slower time, but it was 7 hours of relentless forward motion!
oh come on, i openly talk about #2-ing on the side of the road. share away :)
sorry to hear it didn't go as well as planned - i know you were primed for it. i'm sure it was still a good race and workout for you, and you still freakin' finished!! i definitely can't say i've ever done a half-iron, let alone a tri period!
some races are all about crossing the line... especially when your tummy doesn't show up for the race!! Congrats girl. This, too, will help you in the future...
