The lovely Alisa at Ambitious Aspirations tagged me with the Gorgeous Blogger Award! Thanks Alisa!!
Apparently I need to share six random things about myself. Hmm, let’s see what I can come up with… Well, honestly I am astounded at the things that make me cry these days. Maybe I can find six random things that make me cry?
- The official song of the 2010 Olympics was titled “I Believe.” Without a doubt, anytime I heard that song playing I would tear up. It didn’t matter if it was just the song, or if it was the song set to a montage of images of our athletes doing amazing things. Click here, and I bet you that it just might make you a bit misty eyed too…
- The trailer for Letters to Juliet. The trailer, for goodness sake! I better pack a box of Kleenex when I go see that movie.
- I think it really goes without saying, but definitely anything related to Ironman!! Watching any of the Ironman presentations on TV, no matter the race, results in crying like I’m watching a chick flick!
- Sad to say it, but skiing makes me most certainly want to cry! I really want to pick it up faster and to trust myself, but it is hard to not get frustrated every time I fall and have problems getting up!
- Joannie Rochette’s bronze medal performance, in particular her short program. When she was awarded her bronze medal I will admit to bawling like a big baby!
So there we go, that is my unique take on telling you six random things about myself. So, now I need to pass this along…
Missy, Nicole at Geek Turned Athlete, Heather, Badgergirl, Nikki at Slow is the New Fast, and Marlene at Mission to a(nother) Marathon! Tag, you ladies are it!

Man, mmm, six random things...I may have to go with your theme...things that make me cry to make it interesting!
Yeah, and I won't even watch figure skating but that little girl, she crush it. Tears out your heart a little too.
Your video for "Letters" has really got me interested. I just might have to see it!
Crying at athletic events, well that is my specialty....
I am such a big suck at those Timmy scommercials too! Hee-hee!! And I KNOW exactly what you mean about eh Olympics.....Oh man, we are the same, Leana!! Hahahaha -- I think the next time I see you, we'll just hug and cry. LOL!!!!
I think I cry at all of those things too. Add to that list the movie UP! (yes, it is a kids movie, but I watched it last night and couldn't believe how sad parts of it are) and apparently I cry at everything...
I think you have to be dead inside not to get at least a little choked up watching Ironman...
Yeah, that Tim Horton's commercial, movie trailer and Canadian figure skater had the same impact on this old guy.
Thanks for sharing.
I've been to Verona. It's nice. Didn't go to Juliet's, though we walked right by it. Yup, not a romantic bone in my body.
Oh, and when Linda is crying at something, I'm likely to be laughing. Yup, I'm heartless.
Great idea! The Tim's commercials and Olympics montages have been killing me. So weepy all the time!
Thanks for the tag. :)
I cried at the tim's commercial too!
and any finish line.
Oh wow! Thank you very much! I cry pretty much over everything too! Frustration, being angry, sad, happy! It actually quite ridiculous!
Awww you little cry-baby! I cry at everything too!
And I definitely don't blame you in the IM tears...I cried a lot just spectating at AZ, so I can't even imagine a closer relationship like yours to it!
Nice to learn a bit more about you. :)
Hehe I cried when I watched my friend on the computer finish the IM in November.
I'm definitely more sentimental than I let on for sure.
as always so cool to learn new and interesting things..e.ven if they involve crying
Great list! I cry at most of those things too. The Canadian figure skater? Yup, I believe there were tears involved here when I watched that medal ceremony.
And "Letters to Juliet" looks good. I'll have to add that to my to watch list of movies.
Thanks for the tag. I'll put together a list in the next day or two!
#1,2 and 6--me too!!
