Last night it was a girls night in. I hung out with my gorgeous niece Avery while her mom had some studying to do. We watched American Idol until Jason Castro came on and she started crying. We bounced around to no avail and finally her mom realized I needed help. As soon as mom entered the room Avery was back to laughing and smiling once she saw her. I thought maybe she didn't like his singing, but the sneaky girl was just testing her auntie! Otherwise we had a good time as she bounced around in her jungle and I entertained her with some horrible dance moves - she really laughed at me as I "churned the butter" and did "the hustle." She also laughed at me as I changed her diaper and attempted to put it on backwards. Oops. Note to self...the picture goes in the front. A friend who works for Starbucks also came over to hang out and she came laden with presents - bags and bags of yummy coffee. We chowed down - I on pizza, she on formula. It was a great night!

Aw man, I wish I'D seen you churning butter and doing the hustle. Can we hope for an encore performance when we meet in January?
Now why didn't you let her ahve the pizza and you drink the formula? I think you got the better deal...
I'd cry too if you made me watch American Idol!! :)
what a cutie!
awwww too cute!
she's super cute!
Super cute niece! I have a 9 month old nephew that I get to visit next weekend which I am very excited about!
I have a question for you on the Disney 5K during the Minnie marathon weekend. Is it walker friendly? It says we need a 15 min/mi pace but I really want to walk it with my sister and we probably won't be able to keep up with that. Just wondering if it that's a big deal. Would they sweep us off the course? Could we still get finisher medals? Just curious if you had any feedback on that. Thanks!
