Finally!

Sometimes things make it to Canada a bit later than they are available in the US, but finally the Spirit of the Marathon will be shown up here! One night only, April 9th. Yup, I've got my ticket already...! I imagine it would be bad form to chow down on a big box of Junior Mints and popcorn with a large pop on the side at this thing, wouldn't it? Does watching a movie about a marathon count as cross training?

LOL! I think if you are a dedicated runner enough that this movie sparks your interest, then you are definitely deserving of the Junior Mints and extra-buttery popcorn! Yum!! I'll be looking for a review...I missed it when it was here in the states...waiting on that DVD release :)

I want popcorn too!! Just gotta make sure to run before to burn that extra butter calories!

It definitely counts as cross-training. I'd recommend stretching if you're going to have a large popcorn. You don't want to pull anything.

I keep missing it down here! Can't wait to hear what you think.

I found the audience to be the most fit I've ever seen in a theater! I think you'll really enjoy the movie.

It does count for cross-training! I chowed down on Milk Duds when I saw it, and I know there were other people in the marathon movie junking it out too :)

Junior Mints and popcorn count as complex carbs, no?

Not sure about the large pop. Maybe a sports drink would be more appropriate. You don't want to run (haha) low on electrolytes.

The biggest dilemma is not the food. What SHOES will you wear?

I just got my ticket to see it in Nashville. It will be a great way to get motivated for the Country Music Marathon.
