Yoga Incentive

We have a little hockey pool going at work. We all predicted who we thought would win each game, guessed what the winning number of goals would be and took a stab at who we thought would win the Stanley Cup. So if you guess the correct game winner and the correct number of winning goals you get bonus points, plus if your winning team gets a shutout you get more bonus points. I was pretty excited to see that I was winning as of this morning (mostly due to my predictions for the Canuck wins this past weekend)! No doubt it will all change by the end of the night this evening, but at least I was on top for one day!

My 5 card drop in pass at Bodhi Tree Yoga is expiring later this week. I had one session left on the card so I'd better use it up! I also picked up a new yoga top from Lululemon on Friday, so double incentive!
I went to the 4 pm Moksha class which felt so good. I could tell that my hips and quads were super tight though!

I'm still trying to come up with a race plan for Sunday.... I have my race and heart rate goals figured out, I'm just struggling with what positive things I'm going to say to myself when the going gets tough. Why is that so hard to figure out?

I love Moska Yoga, we have those studios in Ontario. I was going to go tonight but the night class was hot pilates... that sounded a little too vigourous after my sun long run. Love the top!

Maybe it is just a sign that the going will not get tough and you can relax and find your zone.. :)

Be sure to make part of your race plan to wear the compression socks for recovery! LOL

It's tough to find that mental encouragement to keep yourself going. I remind myself of something that Lance Armstrong said, "Pain is temporary...If I quit however, it lasts forever." I try to tell myself that walking too soon is quitting. It helps for a while.

Love the look of your blog!

Hey, what about the first two sentences of your 'Who am I'??? I think that would be enough for you when the going gets tough! Who selected the Red Wings? I could help myself........

Think of all the people who can't run or who are not with you any longer...always gets me going.

What a pretty top!

Here's hoping the going won't get tough on Sunday! Just continue to be that strong, determined, focused person that you are!

I have heard a lot about Lululemon stuff! I may have to see what they have. I totally understand what I call: Training induced narcolepsy where you just fall asleep randomly on the couch. Hard to get enough sleep though. i totally understand.
