Hotels Galore

It seems as if I am not on vacation I'm thinking about the next vacation and this week was one for hotel bookings. I've made reservations for all of my out of town races with the exception of January's marathon:
  • For the Sun Run in Vancouver Neil and I will be staying at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Luxury!
  • I booked the Saratoga Springs Resort for the Minnie Marathon in May - the same place we have stayed at for the last couple of Disney races.
  • I am super excited for the trip to Quebec City to run the Marathon Des Deaux Rives. This one will be spent at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac - a famous Quebec landmark. It isn't one of the official race hotels but I couldn't pass up the chance to stay there.
  • I love an opportunity to spend a night in Banff - it is my favourite destination for when you want to get out of town but it doesn't take long to get there. The Fox Hotel and Suites will be the place to unwind after the Melissa's race in September.

Speaking of Vancouver....it has been awhile since I was there last and the restaurant scene is always changing. Any Vancouverites out there have any suggestions for must do restaurants in town?

How fun! Like you, a lot of my trips are planned around races - I wonder if that's another "You Know You're a Crazy Runner When..."

BTW - I'm *thisclose* to signing up for the Minnie marathon. Is it really its last year?

Wow, you stay at Fancy hotels!! I guess you don't have to provide your own soap and radio clock like the last hotel I stayed for the Miami half! lol

Chateau Frontenac is really something, I'm glad you choose that one, you won't regret it!
