Tagged!

Maritza tagged me! I need to come up with six random things about myself and tag another ten people. Let me see what I can come up with...
  1. I am a creature of habit - to a point - when it comes to breakfast. I will eat the same thing every day for three months, then abruptly change my mind and switch to something else for another three months. Right now? Hot cereal with ground flax, almonds, raisins and a banana.
  2. When I was a kid I used to keep a stock of toys in my desk at school so that I would always have something available for show and tell. No doubt those same toys got really boring for show and tell after awhile.
  3. We had to keep a journal in grade four that would involve writing five sentences down every day. I couldn't always think of five sentences, so often my journal entry would go like this: "I have a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch today. This afternoon I am going to ride horses. Weeee! Weeee! Weeee!" Thank goodness my journaling skills have improved or else I would have no blog readers if my entries mostly consisted of "Weeee! Weeee! Weeee!"
  4. In grade four I was tripped while running down the basketball court in phys ed. I fell, blacked out, and came to and was peeing my pants. Embarrassing. And now I'm telling all of you...
  5. I can't wear contacts and I can't have laser eye surgery because my pupils dilate larger than the size of the laser beam.
  6. I had my driver's license for more than six months before I drove an automatic vehicle. I have never owned an automatic either...

I'm tagging...

  1. Laurel - a.k.a. A Brand New Life As A Runner
  2. Laurel - a.k.a. Lily on the Road
  3. Danielle - go congratulate her on her BQ!
If I didn't tag you and you want to play along, feel free!

Hi there, I just found your blog (from roadbunner)and noticed that you ran the Quebec City Marathon as well. What a great race it was! Congratulations!

Number four is so horrifying! You poor thing! I am surprised you still run after that! Haha.

Number one sounds so much like me.

I think it would be awesome if you started and ended all blog posts with Weeee! Weeee! Weeee!

It's funny finding out tidbits about fellow bloggers! I had to laugh at your peeing experience! I had to pee in class when I was little and couldn't hold it in. The teacher made the boy behind me clean it up! I had the biggest crush on that boy and was so embarrassed!

HAHAHA not laughing at you girl with you cause #1 is so me too. It was cool to find out some random things about you. Hey #4 sucked but if you can pee while passed out on the bike should be a go for you when needed.

Okay, a comment in reference to your black-out situation. That reminds me of our procedures at school and what we determined would be an appropriate way to handle a situation... due to a similar situation. Now, if this were to ever happen to a student, the room/gym would be evacuated leaving only the "injured" student and teachers... thus preventing any further embarassment of the child. The emotional well-being is becoming a big priority in the school setting.

Thanks for sharing them all! I know that when I was tagged I only posted 5... I guess I forgot to post my 6th item. What does that say about me? LOL

Wow, I didn't know there wasn't an option to have contacts or lasik...

Thanks for the congrats wishes too. I had to post the pre-story becuase I just know there are people out there that don't think they can do but, but I really think with the right work, it's possible!

I am just like you with breakfast food, too! I'll eat the same thing for years even, then suddenly be tired of it and switch.

I just saw that marci found you! If you go to her race report, I believe you are in one of her pictures at the marathon! I've been meaning to say something and just now remembered!

Oh wait, just went there myself and you've already discovered it!
